FAQ / QUICK ANSWERSSolve the common stuff before you email.
Short answers for invites, sign-in, sharing, safety, profiles, and deletion. If the answer is not here, the support line is still open.
01Why did opening an invite not join me?+
That is intentional. An invite is a front door, not an automatic join. Open it on a device with Armada installed, review the group, then choose whether to request access.
02Does joining turn on location sharing?+
No. Armada starts sharing paused. Joining, membership, and live location are separate decisions. The sharing state stays visible and can be paused or stopped.
03Why is my trip map not updating?+
Check that Location Services are enabled for Armada, that the active trip has sharing enabled, and that the device has a current connection. A weak GPS or network fix can make a position appear delayed.
04How do I leave a group?+
Open the active trip controls and choose Leave. Leaving removes your membership and stops your trip-scoped sharing. If the control is unavailable, contact support with the trip code.
05How do I report a person or a trip?+
Use the safety controls in the trip, or email support@joinarmada.ca with what happened and when. Do not include passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary precise location.
06I cannot sign in with Google, Apple, phone, or email. What should I send?+
Tell support which provider and device you used, the approximate time, and the visible error message. Never send a password, verification code, refresh token, or Auth0 token.
07Can I change my name, photo, bio, or vehicle?+
Yes. Open Settings → Profile & Ride Identity → Edit profile & ride. Sharing controls for your photo, bio, and ride details are independent from live location sharing.
08Is Armada an emergency service?+
No. Armada is a group coordination tool. For an emergency, contact local emergency services. Do not rely on a map, ETA, voice channel, or road report as a safety guarantee.
09Why does a voice or quick-message feature not work?+
Voice and messaging can require an active membership, a supported connection, and the necessary microphone permission. Try again when parked and contact support if the feature remains unavailable.
10How do I request my data or delete my account?+
Use the account controls in the app or email support@joinarmada.ca with a deletion or export request. We will verify ownership before acting and explain any information that must be retained by law.
11Can I use Armada while driving?+
Only in a way that is lawful and does not distract you. Configure the trip before moving, use hands-free or parked controls, and keep your attention on the road.
12Why does support need a trip code?+
A trip code helps us find the correct context without asking for your location or account password. Send the smallest amount of information needed to resolve the issue.
